Ur not far off actually, they are in fact deformed! It's due to cauliflower ear from blunt force to ears, a common injury seen in boxing and whatnot. He probably left it untreated or it just kept getting reinjured leading to the permanent deformity.
Wrestler's ears usually become like that (cauliflower ear or as I like it more - dumpling ear xD)
If I'm not mistaken in can also be from the grinding on the floor in some Jujitsu movements, one of the big components of MMA

Idk bout others, but I, as a person have come such a long way since I started reading manwhas/manhuas. These are not just stories ya know. God knows how much I've grown. Like I've learnt sooo much. Such stories, especially, hold a very strong presence in my head. The art is good, the characters are relatable, there is comedy and humour and sarcasm, the smexy times are good AND the LESSONS!??! How can i forget what they teach?? Like how?
I know, in real life, navigating through our problems seems so difficult and tiring. And in such times, the kind of emotions we feel are so difficult to put in words. Then i read such manwhas and come across such beautiful lines, how aptly they tell how they feel that it hits straight home. Not to mention, how vicariously i live my life through them. Sometimes, i am in their shoes and sometimes i try to put them in mine.
Ofcourse it's for my entertainment. But, for the life of me, I'd never try to negate the fact how I have learnt a lot too. God knows how much it helped me creating my alter ego through them haha.
I hope, such good authors live a long healthy life, and we all get to experience their creations. I hope they never stop writing such stories. And I hope I get to read such stories for as long as my life can be.
