Cultural honorifics get lost in official they made it like some american based on english meanwhile story in a country where culture values in words. Like in mangas they cut down san, kun or aniki words same in korean they cut down some honorifics (i can't remember korean so i don't remember what they call) ... Fan translation seem more dedicated if u look at mangas not manhwas kids translate manhwas these days using mtl.

I prefer official translations cause they're better at being understood cause I genuinely start tweaking if my read doesn't make any sense.

official tl is better cus i understand more BUT fan tls are usually released early so i lowk prefer them

depends on the scanlation team tbh some of them release insane quality translations

You literally spoke my mind I was also going to say this! Too much repetitive grape, abuse, manipulative and incest stuff in bls and straight one's are just porn or they never make mc with a thinking brain. No storyline no plot whatsoever... If you want good stories then I suggest reading the one's with action,comedy,horror themes and avoid the one's with drama, tragedy tags they get boring really fast..

yessss I feel this same way.. I can't tell if it's just me aging, or having read a lot more manga/hwa so everything seems more repetitive. Or there really is a creative drought.
If you haven't already read these, some of my favorites are:
happy of the end (ongoing but i read the raws and trust its peak), all about lust, sleeping dead, escape journey, call, let's go karaoke (and its continuation), happy birthday chitose kun (my own passion project translation LOL), yoru to asa no uta (and its continuation), the man on the other side, bongchon bride, sonokoi jihanki de kaemasuka

yeh I think its also cuz most authors nowadays just follow the “trend” with mostly cold/nonchalant/abusive ml and then weak stupid mc like bruh, and some readers don’t really care about plot and just continue to read those shtty stories anyway just cuz the charas are good looking

Slow burn in terms of the “true love” bits but try “rainbow city” if you don’t king the burn. The relationship a bit rocky at the beginning BUT TRUST LATER ON THEYLL BE SO OBSESSED WITH ONE ANOTHER THEY CANT LIVE EITHOUT THE OTHER PERSON THROUGHOUT THE PLOT EVEN THOUGH THEROR RELATIONSHIP EONT BE CONFIRMED UNTIL THE END OF THE NOVEL BUT DURING IT YOU CAN JUST TELL BY THE ACTIONS, THE THOUGHTS THE EXPRESSIONS THAT THE SEME SND UKE LOVE EACH ORHER TO BITS.
