When I read vol 4, I had already guessed Shisui is Suiren’s sister cause they kept bringing attention to Shisui’s height like they did with Suiren. But I definitely didn’t guess Shisui’s true identity. That caught me off guard.
I can’t wait to see her downfall in the manhwa - I read the novel and it is truly sweet! Obviously a bit more angst before that, but all our leads are so strong and intelligent, that it comes to such a sweet, beautiful, anigmatic circle! I’m definitely re-reading this once it’s done
Hi, I just started reading the light novel online - I am guessing it’s fan translated. Is there an official release in English? Or are there more than one translation out there? Asking cause the one I’m reading is hurting my head with all the grammatical errors. Plus I can hardly tell which character is speaking - it’s all very unclear. I appreciate it still cause it’s giving me the gist of the story, but still, I don’t know how much longer I can read it :(.
Here is were I’m reading. I would appreciate any other links that may have a different translator.

I enjoy BL but I also really enjoy shounen adventure, action genres. So I personally am really enjoying reading this. And even if the romance comes after 150 chapters, I feel it will be even more impactful, as we will see them grow and really come together.
Now I’m off to read the novel, cause I don’t have the patience to wait to know what happens
I’m just going to wait for many more chapters before reading. I last read ch 255, but it seems from the comments that the turbulence is still ongoing. Don’t like the wait in between chapters, so just going to wait otherwise without really knowing what’s happening. It’s better for my heart to take it in all at once!
The English translation of the light novel’s vol 12 will be out Oct 14 of this year! If anyone is interested and has already purchased and read vol 11, j-novels (through a subscription) releases a part of the novel each week till the official release. I have already read up to 4 chapters :D. This vol is supposed to be a huge turning point in the relationship between Maomao and Jinshi, so I am really looking forward to those parts. Of course, their relationship isn’t always the centre of the plot, and I am sure the development, as always, will happens towards the end of the novel, but I’m still excited!! This will keep me going each week in anticipation of the anime’s 2nd season next year.
Also hoping the tax evasion of the artist of the manga doesn’t stop or cancel the publication of it. It’ll be very sad if that happens :(.
It’s so exciting seeing this in manga form - can’t wait for all that follows. And then next year we get to see all this animated
Anyone want to take the time to summarize to me what this story is, cause I completely forgot about it…..
He has two crazy mentors not just one. Kayden is the heads on guy and Kartein’s the sneaky one
He may think him caring about how Han Garam lives is a good thing, but that’s just his privilege looking down on how many people live - I doubt it’s gonna get him brownie points. I wouldn’t want someone to look down on how I choose to live or what I can afford. Han Garam is independent and that in itself speaks volume.
I don’t want him to do a 360 turn - you can tell from his thoughts he still blames Han Garam for some things - he has reflected but it’s not enough. I want a long, hard road for him cause as we all know he was a class act jerk. The laptop thing esp made me soooooo mad. Please respect other people’s hard work and passions!!!!!!
