Well you’ll be surprised some story has a weird way to end, especially short stories like this one. Maybe it’s to make a little different/unique story or it’s just to confuse and leave us with cliffhanger/unfinished/open ending plot. Maybe author felt lost about the story that’s why they left us with this. I dont really know. One thing I know is, it’s cruel to end a story this way haha. But I guess it’s better than leaving out a story and not continuing at all.
