Healer, when well managed and with a good player, is one of the best in the game... We have a lot of buffs such as atk, def or cure buff, can cure ourselves, can have DoT attack... As a main healer in FFXIV i can say that i can beat the shit out of a lot of players in PvP even if they're DPS and without the healer, the Tank and the DPS can't live

The MC is just making life harder for himself by picking this class. A better story of revenge in rpgs would be like The King's Avatar.

i think he picked this class and character on purpose to look like a noob / passive player since he wants to be the complete opposite character so nobody suspects his og account. more of a plot thing than an actual gaming thing to take down the “antagonist” in the story

Nothing about skill when based on overall stats... Especially starting ones other classes far out perform the healer class. I'm not hating on the class it's just based on the dumb logic of this story that clearly don't play games often to know that there are so many other ways to get revenge than by being a healer class

Actually, there are games like that. To name a few, Flyff, Fiesta and Dragon Nest have healer classes that are good in pvp especially on the right hands. At least that was back in the day, not sure how they fair nowadays.

But you clearly haven’t played games that are like that. FF14 and Dragon Nest are examples of games where healers can most definitely do well in pvp. God, I hate that people are reading so much into this manhwa. It’s not that serious.

First of all check the starting stats of your healers.

Secondary in the games you mentioned (both I do play btw) you have to seriously level and grind skills to make your healer class viable and even then they are not the best class in their games by far. I guess you have never played Red mage or Dark Knight in Ff14... In most ff games they are considered the top tier classes.
In DN the black mara and duelist are the top tiers and far out perform most other class and have you looked at the leader boards?
In Fiesta all the fighting and mage classes are much better and more viable than any pure healer class especially for pvp.

Thirdly guys check your overall rankings for world pvp and tell me how many games have a no. 1 ranked player who fights solely with a pure healer build?

First you talk about pvp, now you’re talking about pve?? You have to seriously grind levels and skills to make healers viable? Have you ever done pvp in ff14? All skills are available in pvp regardless of level. In most ff games they are considered top tier?Which other ff games involve pvp other than ff11 and 14? Red mage top tier??? Lmao. You’re talking about a game where classes have a different set of skills in pvp. You can’t even check rankings for classes in ff14 for pvp, do you even play the game? Dark Knights are mostly used in frontlines for their CC which require teammates to follow up, which again, class is irrelevant because everything works differently in pvp.

I'm seriously questioning your level of understanding here. If you can't comprehend the facts don't bring up end game ff stats because the game is designed to make all classes pretty equal end game but for pvp the rules are different as you mentioned, the players all have advantage and disadvantage depends on how skilled you are which... And I have said this before... No white mage is top tier in any ff game especially early on and yes you would consider monk and cleric a healing class but they are more of a mixed healing class not purely dedicated to being healing but if you do consider them than in only ff are they ever going to really be good and even then people just don't play with them as much because of how anoyin they are to master, because that's how that game is designed it's basically a genre of it's own as not alot of fantasy online games actually have these mechanics and classes don't generally matter if you're skilled enough in this one game. That's why I asked about world rankings and overall stats. Healers are generally as a norm not good at all without a team, solo and pvp are also much harder playing with a healer rather than a class like mage or rogue which are more renouncd.

I think you’re the one with comprehension issues.

1) I’ve never once brought up endgame stats, you’re the one talking about grinding levels and skills. I said there’s no need to grind because all skills are available in pvp. When did I mention endgame?

2) Monk and cleric? When did ffxiv include a cleric class? There’s no such thing. Are you talking about conjurer?

3) “No white mage is top tier in any ff game” but I’m talking about ff14 and pvp specific because this entire manhwa is about a dude who only plays healer in pvp and 0 pve, which he mentioned in the most recent chapter.

I think you missed the point of why he made his new character in that way which is kind of weird because he explained it quite plainly. It was to seem like a newbie.
