It took me so long to realize that when he says brother, he probably means it as an honorific like hyung. I felt off about it at first because it felt weird to root for them when they refer to themselves as literal brothers, but hyung makes much more sense

That spoiler is wrong. The sin you have to commit to regress is suicide. Ines committed suicide and that's why she regress. Oscar also regress bc he had committed suicide but he also remembers bc he asked for it in 1st life. Emiliano only remembers bc he asked for it. Carcel is the only one who will get memories given to help him without asking for it or committing any sin.

If you just say sin then everyone will misunderstand. Ppl who hate her family will think they've sinned and should remember but they didn't. If ppl hate Carcel, they think he should get memories for sinning but he didn't sin but he got memories bc he received help. Emiliano didn't sin either but he asked for it when he died.
