I'm reading at wuxiaworld app, you need karmas (a special coin) to unlock chapters but everyday you get 100 karmas by logging in and 40 karmas per comment (limited to 5 comments a day. A chapter costs 32 karmas in general, so I didn't have a shortage of coins so far. Idk about other websites (I think I tried looking for other sites but none of them picked my interest), but I'd recommend this one (you need an account tho, but nothing complex)

The harem is hardly noticeable. I had to give it a good think to even realize it's there. I can think of 5 woman that have feelings for the Mc and only two of them are incredibly obvious. They aren't all around at the same time and it isn't full of the normal harem situations, so it's really easy to forget about.
