i dont now anymore, Harada-sensei change a lot recently, it wasnt the same as before, starting with the last chapter of niichan, she started to try with uke penetrating the seme and more conflicting scenes a totally change of story, well this is my feeling and opinion of course, but anyone of u guys feel the same??

I agree. She has recently been doing stories where victims forgive and go back to their abusers and the abusers get some sort of redemption. At least in the past her villains were villains. Now its just all about victims "being the bigger person" and forgiving their rapists and predators, and abusers. I'm pretty over it, its not cute.

hmmm, people have different thoughts so it's hard to say Harada changes or not. For me, I don't think so. Harada put various different views of the relationships and meaning in each story. Thinking carefully, most her works are different purposes; mostly HE but dark I believe. Her stories focus characteristics/personalities more than plots so they seem more realistic for me. I don't know how to explain but if looks closely, all characteristics/personality are different. Her plots are common you know, there are many dark spycho yaoi but her works are unique somehow.

I think she doesn't do the sugar coating aspect, like you said, but I still think that a lot of her characters fall victim to a very "Japanese ideology"of passiveness and forgiveness in instances of not understanding and choosing to forgive. Not all Japanese are this way but in bl more than a lot of other genres I see it because a lot of authors writing lgbt stories don't actually understand lgbt communities. Harada usually doesn't have that problem herself though as her stories main aspects are not around gender or even really homosexuality at all but abuse and the way negative emotions and situations are able to persuade and effects the human mind, and thats universal into hetero and homo relationships. But back to the topic.... I agree that she makes it pretty clear in her stories that the endings are usually not healthy and that her characters are choosing to make bad decisions. I'm not trying to say she doesn't consider this, just that with this and Nii-chan its recently been stories where victims choose (or in this case seemingly will choose) to end up with their abusers. I know that she will portray it as unhealthy, she is very good at doing that. However, the character themselves usually aren't the ones knowing they're making an unhealthy decision or if they do they are just accepting of that which is sad for them from a viewers perspective and in this case I know many fans have really been hurting for Shou and wanting to see a good ending for him more than I've seen from any Harada story ever so far. I don't really have a problem with that because its definitely interesting for Harada of all people to explore negative emotions since I trust her to do it well and make how dark and unhealthy it is clear (again, I completely agree with you here). All I MEANT was that I was really hoping we'd see another storyline that we don't often see where this story ended up being about Fuku's descent into madness created by his own actions and emotions. We've yet to see that from Harada so I was really hoping that was the route she was going here.

I totally agree with you that her stories focus more on characters and personalities and thats what makes them feel more realistic. Its one thing to show a character do something crazy and make audiences come to an understanding of why (because not all audience members have the experiences to understand why a character does a bad thing). She does tend to do very different characters, but one thing that has been in multiple of her stories are manipulators that bring abuse to their object of affection but then get that person in the end in one way or another. Though Harada gives us all the characters thoughts in a way that lets understand why the victims go with their abusers, either through ignorance, naivety, or etc, its always realistic due to what we see going on with the characters mentally. I do think there is this pattern developing though, of a person pulling the strings behind the scene, sometimes getting caught, and then keeping their victim under their wing, but usually by the victims own choice. So maybe she really hasn't changed.
