Idk but reading this I realized the the story lacks important redeeming qualities most story's do have. The only thing that's good about it is the art. The seme is very unlikable, the uke(?) has no backbone

I think it's waaaaaay to early to judge this story yet. So far I think the director is doing a good job of setting up the story. There is a strong foundation here. But only 14 chapters are out. Give it a little more time.

Having backbone in that situation is basically committing suicide. A man died in the 1st chapter only because of a small misunderstanding.

I realized a lot of new manhwa is trying to do this kid napping/stalking plot to get that type of killing stalking wearhouse prestige but they thing is those authors actually did their research of stuff like that.
These new storys are basically angst porn with no real plot.

Well yknow, I agree but the story is just at the start. These kind of stories progress slowly so wait a bit alright? I say to wait until jinyoo "decides" to give in and become his boyfriend just like that (and I'd stop reading) or if he keeps with this attutude but forces himself to go along to wait fot his chance to escape (not likely lol) or to wait until he releases him. They could even get out and go to school again, and jinyoo could be trying to 'tame' criminal boy into a normal person and THEN fall in love and have a healthy relationship. The story has a potential, let's just wait a little while.
I just hope azusa does not end up "falling in love" with karino

So as I'm reading chapter three and they kinda showed her boobs I had a small thought, I was like wow this is a weird ass shoujo and then I went back to the genres of this manga and it's SHOUNEN. I'll still be reading it because it's really funny but was surprised

I'm sorry but I have to say this and sorry if I offend anyone.
The manga has bad writing and plot. Usually with you could say harem anime a plot is built up and made in a way where the build up of best girl(or in this case boy) wins. But the problem with this is that he ends up still liking the person he's always liked. Everything that happened in between just was made into something completely unnecessary. If the author was just going to make him end up with karma why did the author make junseo fall in love with mc ? He could have just made him the supportive side character that helps MC get through his problems. But instead made him another love interest that has not chance of even remotely winning because MC still liked karma. Like I understand it's to cause drama and added plot but it only makes sense if MC still didn't like karma as much.
Sorry for my little rant. I'm not mad that karma gets mc just felt like I wasted my time.

Even if the ending left a bad taste to some, the way it is now is more realistic.
Even if they've spended more time together, which builds up their relationship,love is odd, it won't happen just because it seems like it will.
Plus, Jaewon can't have a quick change of heart that fast, it ruins his character even.And Junseo in the first place wanted to support him, and he stayed true to his words.
"We may fall in love, but we can't ask people to return the same feelings."
I think the drama between those two, was pointing out this message to the audience.That regardless of what, love is not a choice. I'm team Junseo though,I am rooting for him but the ending is acceptable and it's circumstances were understandable.
I think it's because I've gone through the same situation as him.I was in love with my friend, but she can't help but want to be closer with someone else.Although I'm the one who has been there for her all these times, love is not a choice.So I let her go,but we are still friends.Reading this story, I relate a lot to him, even his personality and the decisions he make to care for Jaewon hahaha
I'm just sharing my point of view, and regardless, what has happened can't be helped. Junseo is such a wonderfully written character, something about him feels realistic,he's mature,kind and is a gentle person,with a big heart to love.He has potential,and I wish the author can make a sequel for him, let it not be a waste.
I had stopped reading at chapter 40 and picked it back up yesterday
I had seen a lot of ppl complain about the slow pacing but after reading almost half the chapters in one sitting it's not slow paced at all

Yep, taking a break and then coming back for updates seems like a good option. Especially when they're incredibly invested in a couple and get angrier each update. They reaaaally need to step out for a bit. I've waited for works on hiatus or slow updates as long as 3 years so...
