I personally think dan giving in and having sex with jaekyung was very in-character of him, NOT because he is dumb but because that's how much he values himself.
We already know that he has a low self-esteem and with his grandma's condition +the accident things have gotten to the point where he is so depressed that he almost got himself killed.
He only agreed to jaekyung's offer when he found out that what jaekyung wants is his body aka his objective worth. ( Which is heart breaking bc dan deserves all the good things in the world).
Moving on to jaekyung, he...is surprisingly kind and respectful towards old people ( we need his back story) but i don't think he understands what he did wrong, which is the most important thing for a chasing arc, He was even surprised when Dan told him his problem.
I Want Dan to sleep with him but give him cold treatment, it would make jaekyung think about his actions and what he did wrong and then we would finally get the chasing arc we wanted.
I think thats pretty much whats gonna happen too. Theyre gonna do it jaekyung is gonna realize dan isnt behaving the same and being cold during it, its not gonna be as satisfying for jaekyung and after they're done he'll probably realize this isnt working how he expected
Finally someone acting like a normal person!! While reading this my only complain was that how are the charcters so fine dying in painful ways over and over again. We finally get to see how this never ending cycle affected other characters. He looked so tired and its heartbreaking. And that my bestfriend part..
