Wait, why did you think it hinted about them not together? Hirano lives by himself cause he already in uni, and working part time (wherever it is) is a normal thing especially when you were already a college student.
For me, it kinda hinted that they're already together (or at least Hirano had already figured his feelings for Kagiura) in SasaMiya spesial chapter long before this one (O forgot what chapter, but it was after when Hirano met Sasaki on a train) which showed Hirano went to meet up Kagiura just to see his face.
This one kinda hinted that Hirano already comfortable enough to tell Kagiura when he missed Kagiura and to just met up with Kagiura without any prior engagement JUST.TO.SEE.HIS.FACE >///<

Ikr. I was actually invested so I looked up for the raws n it is actually so sad that interesting stories end up being a bit toxic or weird.
Spoilers: the ML is 30 or so and the MC was labeled two times as a 'kid' so I guess he still a student? Not sure but the weird thing is that the ML took advantage when it was storming and also when there was a black out and forced himself on him. We then also see the thought process of ML when he tries to figure out if MC hated the kiss that he forced on him... He then came to the conclusion that he didn't hate it!!! Like what???? We only got 3 chapters in the raws and it feels like that the ML is just toying w the MC because we see their usual daily life in chapter 3, and I read enough BL to know where this is heading... Probably ML thinks they r fuck buddies ???? well, we will see... Just not happy how they got together, it had so much potential but the author went w the weird approach ( ᯣ _ ᯣ )

Tbh, the art slays, the designs slay, the story is a good start but at the money kiss it f lost me for a min, after chapter 2 I was questioning my existence and at chapter 3 I think I died...... Wonder what chapter 4 and 5 will bring :D

That one chapter w the dino museum was low key funny. Tbh I wished the start was not so f toxic and fast paced, also the ML was so unlikeable... The last 8 chapters r really nice and I wished that they had good chemistry and a good relationship from the start....
