Reading this left a bad taste in my mouth. Like fym " if I were single I would've go for you in a heartbeat"?? Excuse me in which scenario, in which context, in which situation is saying this even even REMOTELY acceptable knowing damn well you have a perfect boyfriend waiting for you at home?? istg when I read that line I felt my stomach drop. Imagine if the uke heard that, no excuses would save him.
Ok so can any explain the deal between Zeus and Hera? Did he love her? I mean it said that Hera did love him unconditionally so did that make Zeus have some kind of affection towards her and their child, haargan too? And what even happened to her?
i think you've misread. Hera is not Hargaan's mother. It was another woman, who loved Zeus to the point she's 'blinded by love'. But because of her sincere love for him, Zeus also fell for her, and favored hargaan because of it (which hargaan never knew).
As for Hera, she despises Zeus. In the beginning they joined hands to get what they wanted, which was Zeus wanting a perfect killing machine offspring (like Hercules) and Hera wanting power and being queen of Olympus. But because Hera was never able to produce an heir that Zeus desired, he essentially played a role in sabotaging her ambitions, hence Hera hating Zeus, while Zeus remains indifferent to her.
And Hera dies by Hercule's hands-who after knowing the truth behind his mother's death, went in a frenzy of killing anyone who contributed in the death of his mother.

Does anyone know why the members listen to him even tho he's the "weakest" in the group?? Cuz I feel like I missed a whole chapter here. I hoped there were like some crazy backstory to it but up until now there are none.
His drive, his unwavering dedication despite being so weak, his straightforwardness, the way he doesn’t boss them around, his incredible growth in battle... Those are the reasons. And he also somehow has the ability to inspire their battle spirit. Like how the lazy blonde is only ever motivated to fight when he’s around, etc. that’s literally all there is to it.
They have essentially grown to respect him and I think that because they’ve shared so much of their skills with him, he’s basically also like a disciple to them and they’re just looking forward to seeing him grow and what he might do next.
At the very beginning of the series is not because of that. They all came from different backgrounds, but their gods drove them to him. They all have different missions; he is the core of them all.
I’m not far ahead enough in the novel to know anything about the part gods play in their bond with him and I’d rather not be told.
That's literaly in the beginning of the series.
The bit about them having different missions and him being at the core of those mission too?
Huh where is that stated? Rlly feels like I've missed a chapter or two
i think it's probably because he was so weak that all of them were fine with following him, since he never forced them to act like a team and was more like a messenger to convey orders from their higher-ups. given how they were all overpowered and did NOT get along but had to be on the same division, it'd be better to prop up a third-party as their leader. encrid is someone who's so powerless that he can't make any of them do anything they don't want, but is neutral enough that he tames down any infighting. since none of the members really care about the survival of the group or even about each other, those responsibilities become encrid's issues, which is probably why they found him so convenient to work under, since most leaders would be way more involved in them as a team, while encrid from the start said that they just did whatever they wanted and never listened to anyone. and you can see how their attitude changed from the start to now, with all of them treating each other like independents at the same hierarchal level (such as jax bluntly telling encrid he owed him for covering his post, with now all of them respecting him like he's really their boss. so i think they followed him at first because encrid was self-aware enough to know he wasn't equals with any of them, and in turn they found him pleasant enough to continue working under him for the sake of convenience.
also holy crap this was so long, my b
"A true strong person is someone who burns undyingly."
Because of his undying blaze, his squad sees him as someone who is a strong (except physically) being, worthy of gaining their respect and time. Because of his undying flame, he too was able to charm/influence everyone around him.
That’s basically the better way to describe what I said haha
joint custody wife

They meant that encie is their wife lmao
