i don't think they are. in s1 juwon says the blond friend has a secret, which could be a crush on daeun (woman) but that isn't talked about later. besides in the end daeun says she feels juwon stole jeongmin from her so i think maybe she had a crush on jeongmin??? idk

Exactly that’s why I was confused, all of a sudden when she said that he stole him from her but like in my mind she was dating the blond friend

You mean Chase? It's a combination of originally beeing the most normal from a really messed up family ( the family is quite interesting :D) and him not releasing pheromones in the "normal" way.

The novel will help you understanding Chase, but to get the full picture of the family and their problems that won't be enough.

Ashley Miller hated his extreme alpha father, mainly because of the other father, a gamma he turned into an omega. He also hates that his 5 extreme alpha children look like him= like his father. He is afraid that they'll turn out like his father, especially Grayson. 4 of the extreme alpha children presented as extreme alphas before they were 5 years old. The twins had purple eyes when they were born, and Grayson had more pheromones than all the others. His extreme omega partner Koi wanted so many children. So they have 4 children out of 6 who have problems with emotions. After an inscidents where Koi almost died, Ashley seperated Koi from the children and took over, but Ashley also has problem with emotions, because he did the same as Chase for 10 years (injections) and fried half his brain in the process.
Chase's problem was that no one really cared for him and since he had emotion it really hurt him, and the twins were harrasing him with their "help", which led to injuries. That's one of the biggest problem's of Grayson, his way of helping can be really dangerous, but he isn't aware of it. You'll see it in his novel. Also that it looks like that Ashley treats him different than the others, sees him as much more dangerous.

Most of it is in the side stories of Lick me up of you can. And in Grayson's story you find out more. Let's say the family is pretty messed up.^^
