That's because in the story that she knows, the high priest is a good person, and that as the prophesied demon lord, she is the bad one. Up until now the fmc is only focused at proving that she will not become the demon lord that she should be like in the original story. She doesn't have any reason to doubt the high priest's character yet because she hasn't really stopped associating everything to the story she has seen in her past life. She isn't suspicious of the high priest just yet because she doesn't know who's actually the one manipulating everything behind. We as the readers, have an access to what each characters are doing, thinking, and plotting. But the characters themselves can only make guesses on their own or make assumptions, if they actually were able to guess correctly what the other characters will be doing next, that would be so damn boring.. I'd hate to have a character wherein they would always be right about what will happen next

you're so right. and looking back to Reina's past, I can say that she's actually smart than she should be. she only only the character's good side as them probably being one of the main or important characters. reina was the only one who was given the demon king/main villain role so who would have think that that priest has an antagonistic side to him? if i were in reina's shoes, i would have been dead already

Am i the only one who likes the previous artstyle of this manwha? Seems to me that it has become less detailed and looks a bit too generic now, much like any other manhwas out there, like it's lost what it separates from the other works... I reaaally loved the way the colors pop in the early artstyle, and how Vivian's (Lucia) hair looked so pretty with its bright but not overwhelming coloring. Yes, the proportions of the bodies looked off at some point with the old artsyle, but they could've just improved the anatomy instead of changing the artstyle itself.
Thanks for letting me yap! Also another thing I haven't considered is that maybe they changed artists. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
