I apologize in advanced for my lack of grammar in English for it is not my mother tongue. In terms of character development between the Female Lead and the Villainess "I Just Want to Be You, Just For a Day" did it better. Don't be mistaken, I am not hating this story but I just want to have a comparison how the author write it differently. "I Just Want to be You, Just For a Day" (in my humble opinion) did it better between the two leads because first, our "female lead" Psyche before was a weak and pompous idiot who is clueless and a puppet controlled by the crown prince but she changed and step up for herself. She doesn't back down and has the courage to speak up for herself (heck she even learn sword training, you go girl) and most of all, she redeemed her relationship with Medea, the Villainess of the story. If you compare her to Helena, both has abusive parents (mother specifically) and both controlled by the crown prince. The only advantage Psyche has is that she has a status backing up for her but it's still not enough to refuse the crown prince, while Helena has the commoners rank which is her disadvantage. I can't really blame Helena and yes she is pitiful but that is all that is to her and nothing more, pitiful.
So yeahh that's my opinion and I don't hate Helena but I dont like her too
OOOHHHH They changed the cover, the chibi cover was funny because it bamboozled many readers LMAO
