Yea kinda agree with u on that one was really hurt by what they did to Isaiah

Yeah I remember reading this a while ago and dropping it. So, when I decided to read again I was like “oh, did I read this before? Why did I drop it? The story and art is good???” BUT THEN BOOM that chapter happened and it all came flooding back to me lol. I legit felt so bitter about how they did Isiah so dirty that I legit had to take a breather and then forgot to save it on my list XD

Still don’t know how I feel about the brother being the ml though. Maybe it’s cause I didn’t like how he treated mc in the beginning and even now. Though, he did get some brownie points for the book incident, since that really helped mc feel better about herself. But the Isiah incident will always be on my mind

That story made me so mad at how the mc treated everyone. Melody actually seems like she cares and does stuff to help, and even endangers her own life, unlike the mc of that story. So I don’t think she’s a faking it type of fl. The Isaiah thing was just mishandled, but everything else is pretty good and Isaiah does come back.

“That” story though… hgfff I still feel so annoyed. So like mc gets adopted my ml’s father. The father dotes on her a lot because she’s the daughter of the man ml’s father loved(the original story was a bl so of course it was gonna be shit smh). However, his grandfather basically put their romance to a stop and he married someone else and had the ml. However, the ml looks similar to the grandfather, so ml’s father abuses him and hates him(which is the dumbest fucking thing). Anyway, MC FUCKING KNOWS THIS. Because this is a story and stuff. She literally is like, omg that’s so wrong and I feel so bad for him, BUT THEN IN LIKE THE NEXT CHAPTER GOES ON A FUCKING SHOPPING TRIP WITH THE DAD. Like, she basically has all the ml’s father’s love while also going to “save” the ml by basically showing him the most base level of kindness. Like that’s try fake heroine/savior complex shit right there. She just put on a show of sympathy and empathy so she could feel good about herself, but she didn’t do shit. Melody in this story is very different from her imo.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me rant lol. I fucking dropped that story at some point cause I legit couldn’t stand the mc anymore. I was legit waiting for the chapter where she would rip the ml’s father a new one and slap some sense into him, but nothing! Like, stop adding sparkles and shit to the guy who was whipping his child’s legs a chapter before!

Like, I remember saying this on my review page, but it felt like author wanted a story where a dad doted on mc, but also wanted the ml to have a traumatic childhood that mc could “save” him from. However, since it was a story where ml’s dad takes in the fl and that’s how fl and ml start interacting, it just makes it feel like the fl is the fakest bullshit white lotus ever

Like I can imagine someone transmigrating into that story but then the fl appears and she’s like “I have to save them!” When they’re like “we don’t need saving, the fuck? We’re perfectly fine?? Leave us alone??” And then gets in the way of the main leads lol

Oh yea that one fk I dropped that one too like I don’t know if I wanna read it again or not I dropped it at 14chap in so I haven’t gotten into the whole story or even remember any of the plot tho but judging from this rant lol im gonna stay away or else im gonna also have a shitty review about that one hahaha seriously I just wish I’ll find some good ones to read that has really interesting and good plots

lol yeah I don’t recommend it. Even if it gets better, the beginning just sucks and feels like the shittiest white lotus type story ever.
