I think he actually has feelings for her but is really dumb about how to approah her. He prolly approached her first in her dreams because he thought she'll run away if he tells her that he actually knows everything, but his action from there on was really idiotic and is no way right. He should've tried to understand what he did wrong and try to fix them, but he instead kept on doing wrong things *facepalms*

To me it seems like he is more obsessed then actually has feelings for her. If u have feelings for someone then u care about that person and how they feel and he did not. I understand why he approached her in her dreams but irl he still was pretty cold and did not try to get closer to her nor cared for her to be comfortable. He also gave her little to no space even after everything that happened. I think he seems to be more obsessed then actually in love.
Wdym he didn't care?, he lightend the knights works and told the knights to have proper diet why? ofc it's bcs of the FL, he told her to eat w him cuz he worried for her. And i'm sure the doc treat her like that under his order. He just can't show his feeling properly, but the FL can only assumed bad things about him.
So he cared about her physical health but not mental comfort which is just as important. He didn’t respect her privacy and decisions, he still didn’t apologize, made her terrified of him finding out about pregnancy and u wanna tell me he actually cared? That he is a healthy partner? No. Mental health and comfort is just as important as physical one. He got mad she left him after he manipulated her, he’s obsessed with her, he doesn’t actually care. Idk if u know but obsessed people care about health of their obsession as well, as long as they are the only ones hurting them then they are good, which he does. He doesn’t want others to hurt her but if he does so it’s fine. He just imprisoned her, doesn’t respect her or her decisions, he did not regret anything he has done to her, kidnapped her kids to lure her in. So yeah, he’s toxic and abusive. He doesn’t care about her, it’s always more about him and what he wants. That ain’t love and never going to be.
The fl asked if they said they have his child what'd he do, ofc he wont buy it cuz he knows the truth, and they'd be lying by saying so. I dont think he intend to terrify her. The fl assumed that he just doesnt like the idea and run away. Since he is a noob in relationship, he thinks that she's more relaxed talking w him in her dream instead irl, that's why he continue to do so. He didnt know they're his child in the beginning tho, the knight bring them cuz they're suspect connected to the rebels.. I think they just need to converse more to understand each other.
She didn’t assume? Did u read the story? He literally said that if woman claimed that she is pregnant with him then he would’ve killed her cause it would be a lie. She didn’t assume, he literally said it to her face that he would’ve killed person like that, that’s why she was terrified. And u are just trying to make manipulation and obsession into some kind of innocence and lack of knowledge about relationships. He manipulated her, stalked her, kidnapped her children and imprisoned her, there u NO downplaying that. He’s toxic and he’s abusive, he doesn’t respect her, her emotions, or her choices. Never even apologized or acknowledged his actions as wrong, never regretted them. He does anything he wants without caring about how that might affect her. U can’t make him into some pure, non knowing relationships guy, he’s a freaking psycho and that’s all there is to it. Whenever he knows how relationships work or not is his problem, tht does not and never will excuse everything he has done to her.
Like u can have your opinion, but don’t try to convince me that he’s some not knowing innocent guy. He’s a psycho, he’s a manipulator and he doesn’t love her cause he doesn’t treat her even with respect, let alone love. He’s one of the most toxic ML I’ve seen in story like tht and I’ve read like 200 of them. Btw no hate and no mean to be aggressive. Sorry if it sounded this way but yeah. To me he’s beyond asshole, actual psychopath.
