this story would be 100% better if the mc ended up q noone and started going to therapy. A 7 year long emotional and sexually abusive relationship is bound to leave a traumatic experience for someone and it isn't going to change with just a few moments. The mc needs to stop dating and start going into therapy because clearly, he is not mentally sound
