Just reading what Ines went through or dreamt she went through because of that man was traumatizing enough for me. No wonder she had crazy plans about Carcel. I never liked how she is manipulating and inadvertently hurting Carcel but If i was her I would’ve done something crazy too like planning a revolt, tortured those who harmed me even if it was just a dream or something like that
She suffered for 3 lifetimes, raped, abused mentally and physically. She's just too broken to be sane. That's why I can't really hate her and yes I know she's manipulative and all but can I really blame her?It her way to stay alive, its her defensive mechanism. If I were in her shoes I would've killed everyone and anyone who did me wrong.
I get that as a woman of that time she cave in to the pressure of being a woman without a lower status being pursued by a king (who is an entitled arse) but she should have the values to stay away from a married man. Especially a man who got married to another because she broke his heart.
