It’s kinda of complicated, but the 3000 foot view is a rival underground fighting organization backed by a billionaire has grown massive to the point of challenging the Kenyan matches since they are getting in each other’s way they decide to have an all or nothing 10 v 10 match of the fighters. The winner takes control of the other. This takes awhile to get started though as we follow a new fighter at the start just getting involved and training to get stronger. Ohma is back now too. If you don’t know what that means Ohma is the main protagonist of the original series. I would suggest reading that one first
