Aaaaaghh, it's one thing to not be able to stand up for yourself, but to let other people threaten and insult him in front of you??? I just hope Tsumugi solves this one

Here’s the thing though… it’s true that he did stalk her, so even if she says that it’s okay, they’re not gonna believe her; especially if she said it while her “stalker” is right next to her. By letting them take her home, it seems like she’s giving in, but it actually gives her more ground to stand on, because the implied “threatening element” (Ikkikun) is not present. Now all Tsumugi needs to do is tell her family to cut the bullshit. And given that she is an adult, her parents can no longer keep her at home, so if they try anything untoward; she can choose to cut them out of her life for good.
Granted, I don’t think cutting her family out is the right choice, because it will only allow the family to perpetuate their beliefs about her situation, which could lead to them causing further harm.

I agree with you there, my problem was more with the "he was violent with her" part, than the "he's a stalker" part. I think this is a really good plot development and I think something like this needed to happen at some point, I just hope this won't end with him rescuing Tsumugi, but with Tsumugi standing up for herself.

Aaagh, after the latest chapter, my point stands. Good plot, good character writing, I'm just on a Watsonian level frustrated with Tsumugi. She's trying to cling to every piece of affection in her life, without considering how that might harm her and her loved ones in the long run. Again, good writing, but God is it frustrating

Mmmm… I don’t think she’s trying to cling to every bit of affection in her life. She just wants to have an amicable relationship with her family, and not have things end in a burning inferno like her past relationships. My guess is that she’s going to try to make things work and then if her parents don’t comply, give them an ultimatum.

Pretty complex character for this kind of manga. I don't think he's attracted to her, but the social implication that he should be, keeps intruding in his mind.
So he just remember something traumatic and sexual about her, then saw that she was hiding things from him, then heard someone say that he should be into her, then saw her hurt and I just think his wires got crossed.
Idk, maybe I'm just coping.
This manga keeps switching from infantile to surprisingly nuanced and complex. I'm crossing my fingers for the author, this is their big chance to show what they're all about.

True, like his friends glamorize his situation right now, for a teenager like him, being attracted to someone pretty like tsumugi would be common, it's also ingrained in his mind that he saw his sister getting SA'd by someone when he was younger. Which probably was also the reason why he feels disgusted thinking of his sister in that way, it's basically a battle of his raging hormones and his trauma while his concern and care for his sister is the one mediating this fight right now.
If they had the courage to give him some fat on top of all that muscle, I could appreciate the build, but alas, now it's just a strangely wide guy with a tiny head. Btw, the width of your head should fit twice into the width of your shoulder, not five times.
