OMG I thought I had too many xD we have 4 and 5 cats. I totally get you the saddest part was that I could actually put myself into the main characters position really we cause my first dog was the only thing I had for 2 years like I legit didn't have any friends or any kind of contact except for my mom, brother and my dog. But then she died in a car accident and I fell into depression and had to deal with that for years. So this hit me right in the heart and now I'm just crying

Same for me. My first one died of age, she was 16 and i was literally there beside her all the time. When she died, i was kind of lost and depressed for a moment. Now, i have 7 and they are my family. I can't even start to think that they'll be gone . I'm just enjoying every moment and the happiness they are sharing with me. So whenever i see a story that has a dog in it, i can always relate.
