He’s basically in the similar ballpark of crazy obsessed and possessive of the MC, like, he’s stated several times that he’ll lock her up 100% if she every tries escaping. Also, Dates aren’t necessarily just “hooking ups”. Like, friends and families can “date”, it’s a term not strictly meant for being romantic. A date can also be platonic.
