Ok, I know she’s in for a loop with this new weak body in a hostile enemy country with people she hates and the man that betrayed her. But she has the upper hand, everyone thinks she’s a weak and sad woman... she needs to use that. She knows all the movements and how to use a sword she just needs to increase her stamina and practise. After she’s gotten used to using the sword in the body she is in then she can extract revenge on the man who killed her, after killing him she then needs to set several fires all around the castle using alcohol as an accelerant in the hopes of burning the whole palace to the ground. Yes it might not kill the king and everyone she hates but it would put a big dent in their morale and hit them at the very center, then she could get on a horse that she stashed before hand with some supplies and a sword and set off to find her friends and comrades. She needs to buck up and get her ducks in a row. She’s been given a second chance at life with the perfect chance at getting revenge and tearing the whole kingdom down, and know one will suspect it coming from one of their own.
*maniacal laughter*

So we all know Dion is a psycho asshole and deserves to die but part of me can empathize with him...
For one the FL isn’t a good person, she’s not evil or even bad but she’s not good. She doesn’t stop people from being killed and even kills herself and hurts people, and the only reason she helped the ML is because she knew what was going to happen if she didn’t, and I do think she cares for him but in the beginning it was about self preservation. Which We can understand and that’s why we are routing for her.
But if we were to put the story in Dions perspective would we think the same? I mean the FL had to watch her brother die and then had to kill him in a hallucination, and had to go through years of mental and physical? Abuse... so can you imagine what Dion had to go through as well? He was ordered to kill his own half brother and if he had to go through the same hallucination/ training as the FL and Jeremy (another brother) he too had to kill someone he loved. And can we assume that the person he might have had to kill was the FL? Maybe that’s why he has such an unhealthy obsession with her.
He’s a bad guy yes, but after having to endure that type of childhood no one would be completely sane. So I do have some empathy for him, I’m hoping they will show some more of his background to get a better understanding of his character.

Also, I think empathize is a bit too big of a word. I don’t identify or understand his feelings like that. Maybe sympathy or pity, but that’s about it. Either way, I don’t wish Dion any sort of happiness, regardless of his sad childhood or whatever. That fucker doesn’t get a pass, from me. Plenty villains have tragic backstories, doesn’t make me hate them any less. He’s too much a of a piece of shit for me.

If she goes back in time before her death, as long as it’s not her brother doing it then she can grab a sword or knife and stab herself to go back before the mess happened, it’s not to late since he hasn’t killed her yet.

But she’s have a chance to go back and maybe answer his question better. She lied to him when he asked if she knew him and that’s why he killed her maids. If she went alone instead of with them she could spare them their deaths... and she could answer in a way that might keep her alive, like telling the truth.

Also is that she has to play that day through, so no matter what happens that day will happen and depending on her answers she will die or be allowed to live. And at the beginning during the ‘prologue’ she stated that she’d already died many times so I’m guessing she’s not going to answer in a way that would amuse him enough to keep her alive for awhile, the next few chapters are probably her trying to figure out the right things to say and her dying... so...

I doubt an 'in****' mofo like Castor would care if she went alone or with her maids. He'd still find a reason and way to kill them in front of her. Besides if she does things the diary doesn't say then she will most likely end up dead in ways she can't predict. And she didn't lie. He wasn't referring to the time they met on the path with Hernandez and himself. She said no because she knew he was asking about something else. And finding an answer to keep herself alive depends very much on finding out what makes him tick and how to respond to that. She can't do that if she keeps avoiding him.
Things were getting better, and now it’s all gone down the shit drain. Trash... they all are trash... I feel for the FL, no wonder she tried to off herself.
