Y’all that are coming for everyone defending Yuyang today, I’m remembering you and I BETTER not see y’all backpedal in the next few chapters about how you suddenly “love” yuyang again and “knew all along that he was good” once they make up.

LMAOOOOOOOO

LMAO NO ONE HATES HIM FOR THIS THO. THEY ARE JUST UPSET. YALL NEED TO STOP BEING SO SALTY. JESUS. DO YOU SUDDENLY HATE YUR SIBLING IF THEY DO SOMETHING TO PISS YOU OFF? NO. UR JUST PISSED. YOU'LL GET OVER IT.
PEOPLE WILL GET OVER IT ONCE YUYANG REDEEMS HIMSELF. STOP CALLING PEOPLE HYPOCRITES WHEN YUYANG HAS FUCKED UP AND HASN'T REDEEMED HIM YETTTTT. WE ILL ALL FORGIVE OBV ONCE THIS SITUATION IS SORTED OUT. FUCKING CHILL. MY GOD YALL ARE ANNOYING AS HELL.

ALSO!! this scene is literally the perfect example of both of their characters so like... again ppl need to chill. First of all, Yuyang is lowkey a tsundere type when it comes to relationships and he is very fiery and feisty when provoked, but is clearly just a cinnamon roll in need of a hug. Lihuan is a calm and stoic force of nature who is ready to be there for Yuyang. Idk if any remembers, but in the extra chapter when they go to the amusement park, Yuyang was saying they had a fight before and wasn’t sure if Lihuan was even looking for him. WELL OF COURSE, Lihuan finds him and they make up!! again, I know how this may seem like an excuse for Yuyang’s behavior, but if you just READ the story and understand the characters, it’s clear how their interactions epitomizes their defining character traits. I know that in the next chapter, they’ll be able to communicate clearly now that Yuyang was able to get his steam out. While I agree they need better communication, I don’t agree with some of the people who are crucifying Yuyang for his drunken actions. Yes he needs to talk to Lihuan, yes he didn’t have to be passive aggressive. But to completely write him off as mean or rude completely misses the point that he was hurt, felt betrayed, and felt he couldn’t trust his friend. anyway, I love both of them and I hate seeing this discourse

some of y’all need to chill on yuyang. i’m not defending him or his actions, but some of y’all are so quick to drop him even without understanding the depth of his character and the progression of the story

I don't see anyone dropping him though. I just see people saying he's in the wrong, treating lihuan unfairly, and 'poor lihuan' in this situation which isn't 'dropping' him. I have yet to seen any comment say 'with the way yuyang is acting i completely hate him and will never forgive him and he can never redeem himself. this character sucks now'. seems like ya'll are the ones exaggerating tbh.

honey the dislikes are because ppl don't like other defending yuyang for what he did. because there is no ecuse. it's not that people aren't considring yuyang's side, its that people haveee considered it and that it still does amount or justify what he is saying or doing. some people are saying it isn't defending but it totally is, you guys are asking people to not be RIGHTFULLY angry at yuyang rn because he is making a huge mistake. the dislikes aren't people 'hating' yuyang. you guys are throwing the word 'hate' around so casually. i've yet to see anyone say they hate yuyang.

you guys 100% are. and ok, lihuan kissed him unconsensally and it was fucked up. there.. see how I didn't defend him?? ya'll need to learn.
the kiss situation is separate from the accusation situation which is the reason why yuyang is angry and treating him like shit.. to which you guys ARE defending and saying 'but he felt betrayed' 'but he's just trying to protect himself' 'but this' no. BUT NOTHING. why can't yall acknowledge bad things the uke does but be so quick to acknowledge only the bad things the seme does? i never saw anyone get this defensive over lihuan when he treated yuyang coldly in the past. people knew he fucked up and forgave him when he proved himself/redeemed himself.
and thats what'll happen with yuyang when he redeems himself. but instead yall wanna protect him and act like he's perfect.

people are salty as hell, cos they don't see it from both sides, or have never gone through this experience. 100% that's why yuyang uses his attitude...pure defense mechanism. once they talk, i think things will go smoother. well, as smooth as they can go for now, when yuyang is still hung up on li xiang. lol lihuan probably doesn't know exactly what it is he's feeling for yuyang yet either.

nah, for the kiss, lihuan is. for THIS ENTIRE SITUATION THAT HAS CAUSED A HUGE CONFLICT, yuyang is 100% at fault. your bias is showing.

i don't see where my bias is at all when I have NO PROBLEM CALLING OUT BOTH without defending either of them for their different fucks up they'ved caused. you however defend yuyang in both.

if i defend yuyang's actions more than lihuan's it's for a lot of reasons: he learned to have an attitude to keep himself for people giving him crap for being gay, he's still in love in an unrequited love that still hurts, his misunderstanding about lihuan still makes him mad, he's drunk and there are various types of drunks(angry, sad, happy). i don't think his misunderstanding is causing a huge conflict. it's actually rather minor once these two talk about it. both need to apologize to the other once this crap gets cleared up. lihuan's forced kiss is a far more serious matter to me.

am I the only one extremely confused about Minato’s childhood trauma?? can someone explain

His dad had an affair with the chauffeur, mother wanted dad's attention but couldn't get it. Dad was killed by someone (as far as I understood) and mother blamed children because they knew something (dad's gay secret?) and she hanged herself. Then end.
(In all seriousness, that's how I took it. I may be wrong though. Either way, poor brothers ┗( T﹏T )┛)

father would cheat on mother with men. Minato was the only onw who knew. He was stressed keeping the secret, he saw them do things together etc. Then we can assume in some way he was sexually assaulted because we see him being touched as a child in a flashback. When mother found out about husband cheating she hung herself. *not clear about how the father died tho, some kind of accident with one of the men he was cheating with.

First, father had only one lover, second, Minato wasn't assaulted, that was a mother trying to hit him with the vase and Itsuki defending him. Father was killed by his lover because of money issues

I am at a lost for words. This manga is so beautiful. From the plot, themes, and characters, everything about this was so preciously and thoughtfully written. I loved how the mangaka showed Ryu and Ayumu’s parallels, leading to why he was so interested in Yuuichi in the first place. I cried so many times because the three of them were so well developed and had so many complexities. I thought the story was over after Yuuchi and Ayumu making up, but I was so pleased at the addition of Ryu’s past. Just makes me love him even more. AND FINALLY AT THE END WHEN HE HAD TURNED OFF HIS PHONE BUT YUUICHU FOUND A WAY TO REACH OUT HIS HAND AND HELP HIM... WOW THAT WAS AN AMAZING ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONA
