from what i understand, he's not a shady guy and he and misha had a consensual relationship until ilya passed away
i'm pretty sure they both loved each other, and misha keeps the same tea set as a kind of bittersweet reminder

My korean isn't the best but I can understand a few things:
Ilya loves Misha. He helped shape Misha into the man we seen in the Therapist story. He help him become a florist, and a perfumer. He also introduced Misha to BDSM, him being the dominant and Misha being the submissive. Ilya has family, but they never call or visit him. He has a bad heart and is ill, Misha not only takes care of him, but keeps him company. The very last time they had sex, he hit Misha too hard and it left a scar on his back--which he did for reason. Eventually, he does die: had hear attack while driving, and he leaves everything to Misha: house, money, greenhouse...everything. When Misha goes to his funeral, Ilya's son and ex-wife was there, upset that they got nothing and Misha pretty much says that he was there for him even when he was lonely.

The storytelling and narration has me HOOKED. I love the mixture of past and present storytelling with the few sprinkles of future events happening simultaneously. Like about the 10 million won reference. Abhhh.I’m so excited for this and I can’t wait to see how their relationship progresses (▰˘◡˘▰) On the character profile it says Park Yeong Do likes Giju and whatever Giju likes so I can already tell he’s going to be like a puppy personality and Giju is going to be like a cat personality hahaha.
