I mean seriously that’s what makes this story so captivating compared to others, because the characters are so realistic and flawed, it’s frustrating but wonderfully relatable. Everyone has times where they deal with conflicting aspirations and emotions, or times when they are motivated by something they don’t even comprehend. I guess it’s easy to call her unwise through a detached and ignorant lens, but love is such a complex thing and it’s clear that the fl like many people, is unable to just “snuff” it out, even when it seems reasonable.
