en gros ca se passe quelques année après chez les marleys et y'a des flash back entre avant qu'ils partent sur paradis Island (la ou eren et etc vivent) et apres que Reiner soit revenu seul, je vais chercher le lien que j'ai ou c'est expliqué plus clairement!
There was a time skip since the attack on the island which Eren and the others live on. We are seeing things from Reiners perspective so we are seeing what is happening outside the island. The Eldians = Erens ppl and reiners ppl they can turn into titans. outside of the island the eldians live in concentration camps and have no basic human rights they are brainwashed by the marley government to believe that the ppl on the island are evil and they think that it they defeat the island they will gain rights. Marley wants the island because it has fossil fuels that they can use to make new weapons, but cant do anything because of the threat of the original/progenitor titan which was the kings titan (Eren now has this titan). The human body can only hold the titan power for 13 years before they turn into mindless titans that is why the kids are being trained to inherit the titan power. Gabby wants to be the next armoured titan. After his experience on the island Reiner knows that the ppl on the island arent evil and feels very conflicted but cant do anything about it and you also see some of his flash backs to his past. Marley is planning another attack on the island to gain the original titan power. I think marley is the only country that has eldians left so they use titans the sifters and random ppl that they turn into mindless titans as weapons and that is how they rose to be a super power but now the other countries have developed weapons to combat some of that so marley wants the original titan plus resourses on the island to make weapons. if you have any other question feel free to ask
