i liked the second couple way more, i liked the first couple but i feel like the top always has high expectations on the bottom and like in the side stories he bitches about how the bottom didn’t give him a present but if u think about it the top didn’t give the bottom a present either. idk, it always feels like the bottom has to apologize for their relationship.

yeah i finished reading this like a solid 4/10, i feel like this story has a lot and nothing going on at the same time. i think the issue that's happening is that there will be a conflict that happens, say like in season 2 mc has a homophobic bully out to harass him but then in two seconds flat ml comes in and wrecks him. there are a lot of conflicts but they get solved asap so there's really no tension that happens. which is fine bc this is supposed to be a cute story, but really makes me feel bored bc the characters themselves aside from the kids are boring asf.
ML IS SOOOO BORING. he just looks like this O_O the whole damn webtoon even in smut times its so boring. theres literally nothing to him, he looks like copy paste the average male lead. no character development, we dont know anything related to his first wife either, which could have been pretty interesting to delve into and see how he moved on and accepts mc into his life. hes just a empty husk of a silent man archetype.
i like mc too, hes cute, ill give him credit that he at least looks different from the rest of the cast that has black hair and eyes. but he kinda has no aspirations or goals but he was like a nursing student? and thats kinda it. i mean get that bag and marry rich king ig.

This spinoff really just shows to me that hyesung really be taking L’s his whole life. like not only was he left behind by his mom, abused by his dad, raped by dojin and then baby trapped by him, but now both his child and dojin are seeing his mom behind his back. Honestly this whole series just feels like a how much can we shit on Hyesung really

can’t believe ppl here are debating about whether this is rape like i finished reading this story after dropping it twice and after the first season i ended up liking it a lot. i like dojin, but that’s b/c i can put past his behavior in the first season.
but i will say i really like hyesung’s character a lot. i don’t get how people actually dislike a really well written depiction of what being a young mom looks like. we see hyesung struggle, raped, having pregnancy blues as well as his trauma resurface, and people are still blaming him for his behavior for leaving byul despite him making a contract with dojin that he will leave the child once he gives birth. he already warned him that he was going to do that and yet yall still blame him for doing that. dojin has raped hyesung multiple times in this story, anyone who says otherwise needs to go get a dosage of schooling and media literacy.

tbh i never read sadistic beauty but ive seen and heard enough about it that i feel as if this author enjoys including rape way more than necessary to tell her story, and ive read some of the chapters from the bl side story and can kinda feel that when reading it. i hope this story isn’t the same, because i love the art a lot.
either way, imma give this story like ten more chapters and if the plot doesn’t pick up imma dip out of here
