But i read for the smut AND plot. I love the concept of this. but the redemption arc is taking way too long. The slowburn itself is really slow too, like slow as a snail . But I understand there are people who only read for the smut. So i won't judge.

I honestly see why how this all played out, because if the dad joined in the beginning then his position as an investigator wouldn’t be useful for long with evidence tracing back to him because he’s the only relative active and present. And if he gets suspected, Maria cant do anything because she's supposedly undercover. That’s just from the top of my brain doe but I do hope Maria doesn’t get her identity revealed just yet
