Well, you do know that,
first, as the Princess Consort told us that the Uke was mostly kept away from people, when he was still with his mom. His socialisation ability must be more than just lacking. Even common sense.

Second, he never received any education and that is not just about writing and reading skill etc. For example, grade school is not just about teaching abilities, but very much about teaching kids about life etc too. How is he supposed to know any common sense or ability to think up something.
He was never taught or told anything. If you don't educate kids, then they won't know. (Please don't feel triggered by the next sentences)
If kids never get told or shown in some kind of way, they won't know that what was done to them is abuse to whatever degree and wrong, they will most likely not even know that they are should to speak up omce safe if previously threatened by the criminal even if they know they are a victim of a crime. Any adult would know to report it somewhere. But you should know a lot cases of child abuse don't see the light of the world or way too late, instead at the first possible time. Trauma and more also being a cause. But there are enough cases where it's also the cause of lacking knowledge/education.
Hence despite our Uke being some kind of genius, he never was able to make use of his good brain. I also doubt his mom would ever have told him to search for help when being mistreated. I mean they were in a poor situation where they couldn't rely on anyone.

Third, I think, he still does not truly believe in his Highness love for him and even if. Did he ever see his Highness being able to protect the uke from the Princess Consort? The answer is clear. Never. The Princess Consort also never got punished. So on what basis is the Uke to know his Highness has the power to protect him and mkre importantly his mother who is staying far away out of his reach?
There is no reason for him to belief that his highness can protcet the Uke or his mother for his whole life because he only knows, that when his highness is right beside him he is safe, else he is not safe from the Princess consort. Based on this, he must be more than afraid his mother isn't safe from the Princess Consort, when he already isn't when not being right beside his Highness .

You could probably come up with more reasons for his behaviour.
But well it's not too unreasonable how he behaves. But indeed annoying. I agree at that point. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I agree and you could also say that he is also afraid because the princess is threatening him of telling that he is actually a boy when in actuality I think his Highness already knows.

Along with what you said I think he’s probably uneducated about the human anatomy too. If he didn’t get any education about the most basic structure of life, he prob doesn’t understand the differences between female and male. And a lot of the comments are calling him dumb like he already saw your penis and you don’t even have boobs, but how would he know what boobs are and what females vagina are
