I think its more disturbing because he purposely had sex with arwin to show anton his place knowing that anton and arwin were in love :(
It's not because of the fact he's having sex with Arwin, it's his intention of feeling superior and powerful by doing that and trying to ruin every kind of romantic relationship between his son and Arwin.
No I think he's reminding him off what Arwim is, and trying to prevent whatever happened to him and his wife to happen to Anton. He just doesn't want history to repeat itself with his son.
