for the past few years i've been reading this, i've come to terms with the fact that it was only meant to be borderline bl and not really bl as it's focus is more on workplace comedy
however, after it was adapted into anime, all the subtle bl-ness being voiced and animated is getting to me. atp in the anime (ep 6) they're literally married and living together with a child... but you're telling me they're supposed to be JUST COWORKERS??? *feral noises*
i am not ok

mc is a beloved mob character, but i do want to see him end up with someone in the end (hint: hatano).
i have hope for mc x hatano bc in the live-action adaptation, he actually ends up dating a man (kikuchi, dude in ch19) and is upgraded to a main character that has self-awareness of the bl world. but keep in mind that hatano wasn't introduced in the live-action, hence why kikuchi was his endgame.
in this original manga, kikuchi is nothing but a one-time partial flag for mc. hatano on the other hand is a major character and has had many scenes with mc. their only obstacle is him being a minor and mc being a uni student. so best believe in the long-run, no matter how many years it'll take for hatano to catch-up to mc in the story, they will end up together. they're just playing the waiting game atp as they are each others' endgames.

so heartbroken that it ended. was hopeful aruko sensei and hinekure sensei would continue about their university days including the trials and tribulations the group would have to face in the future, but it seems like they are content with letting our beloved characters live a peaceful life full of love. i'm okay with that.
i guess all i need to do now is collect the last few volumes of the official english translated manga and re-read it again and again :')

sure, mike might be harsh but he might as well be doing yoshinaga a favour by urging him to act upon his feelings.
tagura tohru sensei when asked on koimonogatari:
"sorry, i'm focusing on another comic (nomi x shiba) right now, so i'm behind in my progress. however, i will definitely try to write until the end of the story."
i have the official english manga for vol 1-2 since forever, can't wait to own vol 3 which might be a decade from now with the pace sensei is moving at :')

I wonder if along the way she changed her mind on the course of the story and hasn’t quite figured out where to take it and that’s why she shifted energies to her other series?
I remember someone posted a while back that she had said Yuiji and Yamato are end game, but what if she’s changed her mind?
Honestly, I think I prefer them as friends and Yamato can try to make it work with his current BF.

He has no right to butt into Yamato's life after he just came back into his life, it's very rude. Plus, based on what happened with Mike, Yamato doesn't want to risk ruining a friendship again. Mike doesn't understand the whole situation at all and is giving him pointless criticism, he's not helping at all. I don't really understand why Mike cares so much about Yamato's love life when Yamato's sexuality makes him uncomfortable since that's the reason he ghosted him. Mike probably has a biased view on the situation, probably thinks Yamato is the bad guy.
you can absolutely see the heartbreak in jun's expression when subin confronted him with the end of their rs. this is so depressing tf.
