Okay, so after the story of the former King and Prince, I'm wondering if he really is her father. If it's also true about the Witch of Ruin/his Consort and she poisoned him, that would be the reason why he's hostile towards everyone, including her. I don't think she put that little 1+1 together. She was mainly focusing on how they look alike.
It also could be that the father is extremely cold to train her to be superior and or to protect her, and of course he's going about it the wrong way. Kind of like that fine ass...*ahem*...I mean the father, Regis/Legis (??), from "Father, I Don't Want This Marriage!" Tbh honest, I would love if it's like this. It would be kinda cool to have her confront him and she finds out the truth about everything, including his coldness towards her. And while she doesn't automatically become a cuddly daughter towards him, if they team up, they would be BAD ASS.
