So he's the monster, but the bitch who punched holes into the condom to get pregnant on purpose and essentially trapped the man into parenthood...what is she then??? Yeah, that Manager/Director/Whatever bitch, I wanted to punch every time I saw her after she said that shit.
So, I'm wondering something. I didn't know if I would like the whole amnesia and break-up SL. I thought it was a cop-out, as far as them having a happy relationship goes. I dont know if anyone has said anything about this---it aggravates me every time I see it--her bracelet is entirely too large for her little wrist. Every time I see it, I think, "It's gonna fall off!" She wears it bc Zepon bought it for her. I get it, but the artist or editor or somebody should've recognized that it was too large and resized it. It takes me out of the SL Every time I see it. Maybe it's meant to be exaggerated. I mean, the hair is exaggeratedly long, whether it's up or down. Maybe the bracelet is to be the same: exaggerated. But you can't tell me she wears it comfortably bc there's no way it stays on her wrist.
As someone with thin wrists, I can tell you it would be extremely uncomfortable. Whenever I wore bangles, I was paranoid of them falling off. And large bracelets with clasps are even worse, because the clasps are usually cheap unless it's very good quality. I'm sure in the story, it's decent or good quality but all I can think of is the amount of times I've bumped my wrist against something and almost lost a bracelet because of the clasp failing. My job doesn't allow bracelets, so I don't wear them as much anymore but yes, there are so many issues with bracelets that most people don't consider.
That said, I would prefer a bracelet over any other form of jewelry except anklets. Having taken self defense classes, I can't really look at piercings and necklaces the same. Bracelets and anklets are at least practical and aren't likely to damage you in a fight. Plus, smashing that large bangle/bracelet in someone's face will at least do some damage. If they get ripped off, they aren't as painful as piercings and aren't likely to choke you like a necklace. So, I ignore the large size and just focus on, "At least she can break someone's nose with his gift."
As much as it tickles me the shenanigans Det. Gang finds himself in, I really want him with that Cutie Patootie Oh.

I’m with everyone on this one: the rapists should’ve gotten their comeuppance. I’m sure like y’all, I’ve read tons of ABO stories. My favs are when the Omegas are treated normally and are not being abused and raped. It sucks that there aren’t that many stories. I just hate that it’s like a trend that Authors make Omegas so lowly in society that they’re abused, spat upon, they can’t get decent jobs, and there’s always Alphas that think if they’re swayed by the scent or heat of an Omega, it’s the OMEGA’S fault and if they were to be raped or abused, they “wanted” that Alpha to rape them.
It makes me sad bc if something like “second genders” were to ever happen, in this world, Omegas would be treated like shit….just like in these stories. And on the other side of that, there would be Omegas that would purposely seduce Alphas and trap them. Our society, where we are now, wouldn’t be able to handle something like ABO Second Genders. Hell, we can’t even get rid of racism, sexism, homophobia, and etc., so having Second Genders would be a no-go. We’d quickly find out just how big pieces of shit a lot of us are as a society.

My hot take on Omegaverse and ABO dynamics is that it’s an animalistic reflection of real human dynamics between woman and men (shaped by the patriarchal society we exist within, and have existed in for centuries.)
it’s obviously dramatized, but time and time again will I read a Omegaverse and just think “yeah, this sounds like the reality of woman”
I mean there are SOO many common topics discussed in Omegaverse stories that are intrinsically tied to the story of woman, for example; sexual harassment, rape, societal (job, housing, economic, etc) discrimination, violence, blamed for being raped (“you shouldn’t have smelt so good” translates to “you shouldn’t have look so pretty”). Hell, even being able to get pregnant and give birth is a uniquely (biological) female experience that is literally the POINT of Omega’s. The list of similarities just goes on and on.
Sure, men face these challenges as well, but let’s face it; the ‘Omega’ role is an overtly sexualized and dramatized version of the societal role of woman in both a historical and modern telling.
Don’t even get me started on Alphas their parallel to the societal role of men.
There’s no need to imagine what our world would be like with the 2nd gender’s present in Omegaverse, because we already have them. they are based on what already exists.
Essentially; Omegaverse, as a trope, is a retelling of a story as old as humankind itself, one that we all experience. Man & Woman
And before ANYONE gets on me about gender-fluidity or nonbinary or neo pronouns or however you want to describe yourself, that’s not the point, so don’t bring it up. This isn’t a debate on identity (frankly, be the person you wanna be, it doesn’t affect me so why should I care).
