You have to think of her point of vue, she was abused , no family no friends , the only person who showed her love was that b..tard , he was the first and only love for her, plus he is a manipulator everytime she is suspicious he creates a perfect lie, and there is no one to advice her thats why

I'm also starting to feel the same way now, I think I'll just drop this and let it Marinate for a couple of weeks since she'll take some time trying not to believe he's cheating and losing her feelings for that Bastard

honestly yeah, she suffered with no family or friends and the only time she got loved was that bastard, Its her first time receiving love and of course you cant just let go of an person you love

she is pathetic because she came from a poor family, she worked really hard just to make ends meet too. the only person she loved and was "loved" by was that jerk, he manipulated her to the point that she's emotionally reliant onto him because he's the only person that she felt love from because she's always alone in this cruel world she's in. she was used even but that guy managed to manipulate her into thinking it was just a mistake.

I couldn't blame haesoo for being pathetic because bit by bit, she's slowly losing touch out of reality to the point that she might be closer to commiting suicide. she's mentally unstable so i really will not think she should've been that mentally strong FL because despite her having strong will power (because she managed to survive up until now despite having depression), mincheol's gaslighting skills and threats were on another level. if she left mincheol, she's got nowhere to go so she's got no choice but to stay. her self esteem was so low after being called ugly by her own husband and how she's "embarrassing" to be with.

don't even get me started with tae-ha, although his intentions are good, the way he acts just so haesoo would symphatize with his "situation" leaving her having the thoughts that he might be also from a poor family, being abused, etc etc. is very baffling because imagine haesoo's reaction after finding out he's a nepo baby and that she was fooled once again by a man?

anyways, i love haesoo's character because she's realistic because that's how most girls are in a toxic relationship. it's hard to let go especially when you're poor because 1. bad things might happen to you and 2. you wouldn't really have a place to go. she's pathetic because she's tired and have no strength to do anything else but survive.

This actually happens in real life for those people who don't know.

What I said wasn’t past tense though. I didn’t say that the plot was already alright and had undergone development. What I am referring to is for the idea of “development” of the plot and that it is now just starting to take place. Who goes from 0 to 100 in just two steps? It’s not like I said that the uke’s situation is good now. I am just pertaining on my first reply to this comment thread how most authors like to use this cliche angsty and toxic kind of plot.
