People, I can't stress this enough... This story is perfect. I've been reading manga and manhwa for more than 10 years and this one is the one I can't praise enough.
Whoever is still having seconds thoughts about reading it, stop. And read it now.
You know the feeling when you binge a tv show and it's so compelling and visually interesting? This is the feeling you get when reading this, so immersive as if you watched a series. The dialogues, the plot, the panels, attention to detail and various POVs and shots (idk how to explain this, i know this is 2 dimensional comic, but the scenes are magnificent, it's never dull. I can only explain it in the sense of filmography and the way producers make certain shots to add depth to the scene's meaning)
anyway, I'm glad there is an epilogue. I was bummed out thinking they'd just retreat into their worlds and just be happy knowing they have feelings for each other. I'm so stoked that we actually might see them be in love, dare i say happily ?? :')
Oof. Could be worse, but still... Story telling is very lacking. Drama is meh, not very engaging or having you "on the edge of your seat", which should be on par with such an overused plotline and genre.
The art and the pacing is good.
I had hoped he wouldn't be the typical forceful ml that these historical manhwas usually have... He was doing so good up until now, treating her well and not overworking her or anything... Although he was drooling over her since the begining lol.
I thought he'd be dead set on getting his revenge and just protecting the fl or something. *Sigh* now both sisters are trapped by shit behaved guys.

Ahh even though the characters are toxic to each other, and its all kind of predictable, the story and the banter is so good. It's obvious this is based on a novel.

My guess there's some childhood trauma and the fact he probably craved attention and love he never got as a kid, being an orphan and all, so now he found a pretty practical way to have it all. Just manipulate and lie until you get what you want.
