I know Eclis is a bad guy now but his character is so f up and tragic.
Nothing he is doing is right but I still feel like its the FL fault. Yes she didnt know this would happen, but she still caused alot of pain for Eclis.
It's crazy because the story literally goes in on this concept. Where "because you didn't know isn't an excuse and you should still apologize." Yet here she is doing the SAME THING the ML's did to her.
I feel like she should've took some sort of accountability. She dosent need to forgive him, but she could of done something!? Anything!?
I understand not wanting to help her brother with the mind control, because he's just been a bxtch the entire time. Yet Eclis isn't like that, my bro has been loyal the entire time.
Plus Eclis didn't do it on purpose HE WAS MANIPULATED. I feel like the story doesn't really touch on that enough. Or it does and just ignores that fact.
Overall I just love this story and it upsets me that it's going in this direction. I can even understand that they needed a stronger Villan. In that semse, Eclis is a great choice, since he was cleary set as a rival for the crown prince. I'm pro Penelope x Crown prince. But, I just think how they did Eclis character is messed up. And from what I heard they just keep making him worse so your forced to hate him. Which sucks.

Although there's alot of the story hits hard.
Especially the ending, cuz it implies Nicholas suicide. Whether that be literal or Metaphorically, Nicholas gives up. (I also just want to clarify theres not solid proof but i doubt Noel auctually showed up.)This would be just a basic sad story if the author did just that but NO. They gave their character hope and crushed it. Just when Nicholas was about to believe it dwindled away just as fast. It just sucks man, cuz in these type or stories I always felt like the Mc could do so many things to live a better life. But for Nicholas, the author made me feel as hopless as he does.
Overall a little freaky, but sadly there's quality here. In story telling atleast. That's all I've said my peace
