How the heck did the husband COMPLETELY change that much in 13 years? Not only his personality but his values too that he had when they were 20.. he seemed so humble about his origins. Now he use his past to make the side chick take pity on him. Bha I'm shocked. Idk when he was talking to the side chick he imagined a life where him and the FL had a baby, the baby she probably lost, we don't know enough about that part but maybe the loss of the baby took a tool on his head? Idk either way nothing justify his action to the FL

13 years is a long time lmao. You don’t realize it but nearly everyone changes within one year. People change opinions 24/7, food tastes, hair styles, views, etc. It is more rare to see people who have not changed at all. People have pointed out that mincheol may not have been the green flag even back then. You remember how the FL often had rose colored glasses on and was in denial until she had caught him in person. It was only her POV, which is not the most reliable. I truly do not believe he was only good back then.
Notice in the memories, he had made fun of her grades, asked for a loan from a coworker in order to get the phone just so she could only call him. It benefitted him. Him smoking with his friends as a highschooler. Him caring a lot about his reputation and image, wanting to look good by helping out the neighborhood. (You realize that mincheol does care a lot about looking good in front of others, remember when FL just showed up at his work and he got extremely angry just from the sight of her potentially being seen by his coworkers).
The baby, the debt and seems like both dealt with disfunctional families. These 3 together can influence changing in character over time. FL wasn't that gloomy either in the past. Looked like someone who doesn't talk too much but still appear cheerful.
