The tyrant prob will be in love with the FL but the FL will prob be oblivious to the ML's love cause shes scared of him. the tranquilizer part would prob be that the only person the tyrant/ML cares about is the FL. (This is all concocted from my head since ive read multiple isekai historical romaces so take this with a grain of salt ┗( T﹏T )┛)

From what I saw in the Raws and novel updates she literally acts as a tranquilizer for the tyrant. The tyrant has some kind of curse/evil thing sealed in him, but the seal is weakening and the tyrant realizes that the curse/evil thing will eventually come out so he’s looking for the witch (aka the MC) in the forest to reseal the curse/evil thing inside him to prevent it from going berserk and destroying everything.
Amelie’s scent helps suppress the evil thing/curse within him (I believe that might not be exactly what it does but it helps with the curse/evil thing somehow lol) and with her witch powers she’s able to make the evil thing/curse within the tyrant go away (or get sealed again, I’m not exactly sure) when the seal holding it in breaks and causes the Tyrant to go on a rampage.
