Wait. So he is just...even though he came from a demon sect? Demon follows laws?

I don't know much about it as well, but a lot of what I read states that Murim creates the law and resides to the city more so than the demon sect who practices their own styles. I think I also read that lands that are essentially being treated as some central for murim warriors is also called a murim land?? Someone else clear it up to me, if you're also curious where I get most of the idea, there is this manhwa titled "Peerless dad"

In my opinion murim is a whole genre (martial art but under some condition) so it will depend on the webtoon/manga etc... and it can also be the name of said land (or organisation) where the plot is taking place for exemple in the breaker the murim is like the martial artist part of the underworld sometimes it's the whole world who is called "murim" but it's bcs martial art are a norm in the whole world there ig ? So tbh I thinks (bcs I'm not rly sure either) that the definition of murim will just depend on the author sometimes.
(Oh ye and if the murim is like an organisation it's mainly them who are the law (openly or while being hidden if they are a hidden organisation))
Scammy scum.
