It's not necessarily that, i don't think having brown/black people be the victim of slavery in a story is necessary racist but it's how it's handled and how they portray said people, they're beastly, over sexualized and takes a lot of inspiration for the culture from orientalism and orientalist stereotypes

For me honestly i didn't find it racist. I mean the story just showed the beauty of black people and their culture stuff, but at the same time after reading about the orientisim thing ,i understand that it really showed that the west or like white people are really dominat and portrayed black people as a beast / slave thing. Tho the black people being a beast in the story was because of their ancestor in the story right? Or im i missing? Tho im not quite sure of what im saying but im not telling that both side are wrong cause i don't really understand the argument VERY GOOD!
