Y'all I watched ep5 because I was curious about lucas and bruh hahahaha the Age gap is so noticeable now because Athy is no longer an adult from korea but an actual child who received prophecy. Even if they say later that Lucas knew she is old (like in manhwa) that will make no sense since Athy an actual child and Lucas is like Eons old (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 Pls tell me I'm not the only one who feels awkward all the other community sites are on the donghua side I'm crying
You’re not the only one! I HATE that they changed Athy being an adult on the inside cause so much of her actions is due to the fact that she’s an adult. AND that the reason her and Lucas work together is because they both know that the other is an adult but both are pretending to be children. They can be their real self to each other. I haven’t seen people talk about this at all!!
Honestly i was already on the fence about it (cause im an animation otaku) and it looked pretty good for a manhwa adaptation but certain aspects were really lacking for me, especially the way the drew her eyes. And when i saw the teaser i was a bit taken aback because the vibe was off but i just figured "its just a teaser" so i let it be, but hearing this? I was gonna introduce someone i know to the series through the show, no shot in hell i'll do that now.
Are you seriously telling me you never imagined Arista kissing another man? What kind of confidence do you have to think she’d only ever kiss you, mf? If the girl I had a crush on was as pretty and cool as Arista, I’d be overthinking every damn second.
I can’t believe the author’s best attempt to make the ML seem good is by turning him into a complete wuss and nerfing the green-haired guy with such a lame motivation. It honestly reminds me of The Abandoned Empress, where the author made the green-haired guy go yandere and turned Carsein into a character who just got emotional toward Aristia because he lost his eyesight (which, to be fair, was a valid reaction).
Berne was actually pretty solid, even with that weak motivation. This could’ve been a perfect “you can find love somewhere else” kind of story if they had just talked and found solace in each other. Love stories don’t always need to be intense or life-changing, sometimes they can be as calm as a river in summer, flowing quietly without making a fuss.
But I guess I wished for too much… especially when the title literally says 101st Confession. ( ̄へ ̄)
Dude I’m not gonna drop cause wanna see where it goes but it would have been a wonderful love story with Berne caring for each other and their lost loves learning to love themselves and each other but it’s showing that this is about hopeless romantics being successfully strung along like I know it’s fiction but it’s literally a story of a guy not having access to a girl he thought he’d always have and basically manipulates her love to stay with him it’s pissing me off a bit. No spoilers I’m just assuming that’s where it’s going but he fr doesn’t deserve her in my opinion

I SAW THE RAWS!!! AAAAAHHHH I'M SO EXCITED FOR TL ヾ(☆▽☆)
