It just lacks gender perspective and logic. So it's and uncomfortable and dumb read. Just grab another story!
The protagonist treats well every man who abused her (in one way or another, but it goes so far as puting her in a cage) and it's not part of a plan or part of her character development.
The male protagonist knows of her dead family situation and how his actions impact her life at home (he seven says so outloud) but doesn't care, and she still has a good (even kind of romantic) feeling for him.
She's good with household affairs! That's her thing, wow! Disgusting. Couldn't even focus on how she worked in company before at least? Or tell us about her social relationships? What does she do in her free time?
The difference with other similar stories is that. Otherwise it would have been another normal story from the genre. This one just makes you rise an eyebrow and think about who wrote this. A few examples:
- Oh, it's good my husband took the credit for the vaccine. I didn't want the attention
- You shout at me and grab my arms with force? Oh, he's worried
And the moral of the story is we should always forget men no matter what but god forbid if a woman is not ray of sunshine and all bubbly, then she doesn't deserve happiness. I hate how they all treat og fl as if she deserves all that has happened to her, even the current fl has this annoying attitude, and acts like she's totally above the og. Yeah sure modern woman with modern knowledge and knowledge about future is gonna end up in a better situation than a orphan of lower standing that has nothing good going in her life. I mean the og's total obsession of ml is kinda understandable considering he was her only silver lining. I just hate how this story downplays so many social issues, just like you've already mentioned.
I don't think anyone would throw up because a gender they don't like kissed them. Seems more like SA effects or some sickness. Maes sense with those dark shadows unders his eyes

She's a transmigrator but she doesn't evoke her past life much. She seems to have merge her conciousness with FL's one when she speaks of FL's past life and past-current life, she sees it as hers and even have fond memories and emotions. It's quite bizarre ngl. It really seems like the author forgot the premise

The king truly is shit. "We will never know if I caused Rashta to be like this or if she was corrupted from the start". Sounds like you don't want to take responsability. You brought an uneducated and unsocialized woman and left her alone between hyenas and no "I love you", like hell you're innocent. Then he regrets he doesn't have Navier by saying his fault was choosing Rashta, seems like you are blaming Rashta my dude.
But he brings up a common nominator: he didn't involve any of his women into his plans, it was always his thing while treating them like passive things who will handle pain alone. Tho ofc I don't think he truly realized that point.

Ch190. That made me cry. A lot of Rashta's choices after the protagonist went away came from paranoia. Obviously she was evil af towards a nice married woman, but if her fucking lover was more supportive towards Rashta she wouldn't have ended like this at all. He never communicated with her, just kept thinking she was lesser and getting angry when Rastha took actions to protect herself. The author gave her a well thought mentality: a slave who would do anything to stop suffering and had so little she started to desire everything (being queen), a woman with no education nor friends who once in power she is so scared of being unhappy again. If she was portrayed as a protagonist and were a little (a lot) smarter, we would have an interesting protagonist i think. I wish the female protagonist would have been harder on her advices towards Rashta before leaving - I mean, unrealistic considering how bad the FL felt by it would protray how much she cares for the kingdom and would maaaybe lead to a happy ending for Rashta. Plus we wouldn't have a woman vs woman thing.
What I do HATE now is that the asshole King seems to be going through a redemption arc. HELL NO. He really has no reason for being a stupid husband, stupid lover, and stupid ruler. He doesn't deserve the power he has and he better die like Rashta.

Catherine (Karen's mom I think) told her their curse when she was small. Karen went mad so that's why she had to be brainwashed I think.
