i think its because toru (the black hair dude that really die) think haruto (the blond dude) died because he drunk poison. toru can't lived his live thinking haruto die alone so he kill himself by stabing his heart. but then in the future scene where we see haruto dying his hair black talking about shakespeare play which is romeo & juliet (the scene which juliet pretend to be died because of poison. then romeo stab himself then juliet wakeup from deathbed).
sooo, without toru knowing haruto was only pretend to be dead? (or maybe survive from poison later on), he stab himself to die.
