AxF shippers are a vocal minority. There are still plenty more that support AxA. The only AxF that could possibly happen is an extra AU type of thing at best. Fei really needs to get paired up with someone so the Fei fans are finally appeased. The only possibility I see is Mikhail now. Sensei hasn't even bothered to draw Yoh even in AU extras, and not even in any flashbacks in the recent years.

also, Asami and Aki are light and darkness (which is IRONICALLY like SasuNaru), they are the total opposite of each other (again, SasuNaru), Asami doesn't get moved by anyone BUT Akihito (like Sasuke to Naruto), Akihito is stubborn and optimistic (like Naruto), Asami is dark and mysterious (like Sasuke). Sasuke risked his life for Naruto (Haku Arc), Asami risked his life for Akihito. Akihito and Naruto could bring THE best AND worst out of Asami and Sasuke. SasuNaru is more similar to AxA. and judging by how obsessed Naruto is towards Sasuke and calls Hinata "weird" all the time, he'd surely go for the Uchiha dick. And Masashi doesn't need to retcon Naruto's feelings (like he did with NaruHina). :3 :3

SasuNaru was like the most popular Naruto pairings despite being both males (like AxA to finder) and ya think Masashi won't get them together in the end if they were a hetero pairing? The only reason why they didn't end up together was because, it's too controversial to end a shounen manga (a renowned one at that) with the protagonist and the deuteragonist, both male, being the endgame.
