I think it might be, unfortunately. The comics tend to change things and their orders from many light novels. For the comic they might downplay it as if it wasn’t her intention. Honestly that scene in the novel is so heart wrenching
I’m hoping it isn’t!! I really hate when artists change too much of the novel when making it a webtoon cause it ruins the story
It really was quite heart wrenching in the novel but they'll probably downplay it quite a lot here. I quite enjoyed it in the novel due to how introspective it was.

Yeah they tend to do that when they play up the lightheartedness in comics. I also liked it because of that and felt like it was a very realistic thought process for anyone that gets transmigrated into a fantasy world. it would be hard to fathom and find your footing after so long of ignoring it.
RIGHT! I feel like this is too shallow for that part. I want that scene HEAVY as it should be, cause Cael remembered it till the future and even ratted out to Diana about how she almost lost Hess because of his decision. The balcony scene is one of the best part for me, I want it heavy.

Same here! I want it to depict all the emotions and pain that it did in the novel. It's one of the best parts for me personally.

basically the famous balcony scene is hestia swings her legs down the balcony while questioning her life, and kael sees her from the outside and rushes all his might to pull hestia back into the inside. because he thought she was about to commit s**cide. if you want to know why: 2ND MAJOR SPOILER: if i do remember correctly kael does not hold his word about issuing temple problem in the council meeting thing, which hestia was planning that all way long to bring down diana. and for kael, it was because the sake of the empire, to not cause imperial authority to be weakened. and for hestia, it was a complete betrayal. so she really questions herself, “what i am in this world, when im going to go back, what did i even live for” etc. and kael seeing her at the edge of the balcony, he misunderstands the situation and has like these s**cide flashbacks at the beginning of the comic. so yeah basically it is what it is. but i thing eventually that temple problem was issued or something like that but it’s been a while since i’ve read the novel so i don’t quite remember, BUT I HOPE THE AUTHOR OF COMIC FOLLOW THE NOVEL FLOW THO

yeah good try, he is well traumatised by some sickening mad marquess, and just because he could not slay him by himself, he is trying to take his rage out of his daughter who did not have zero idea what was going on with actual life and lived like a house cat for her entire life. i don’t feel any pity to him at all at this point.
