the fathers research could save kei´s live, ne?(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

It could also kill him?
Explanation:
Actually the study of aging is real, and they do know why we age. Certain creatures like particular Jellyfish actually can "restart" themselves and go back to their younger stage and begin all over again. Hydras too seem to be immortal.
The problem is what causes aging is cell death. Cells are actually programmed with planned death. They divide a certain number of times and then stop and die. This is called the Hayflick limit. Mice which live only 2-3 years have a 14-15 Hayflick limit. Tortoise's which live to 150+ have a Hayflick limit of 120-125.
The reason this correlates is because each new cell after division when you are young has the same Hayflick limit, but later in life that limit changes. So if you only started at 15 divisions then that number would reach the end faster than starting at 125 right?
There is a part of the cell with the number programmed in, So why don't we just remove the programmed end and allow the cells to divide forever?
Well actually that DOES happen to cells already. Mutated cells lose the Hayflick number and just divide however they want. and you know what we call those cells? Cancer cells. That's why cancer is usually a lump or growth, it is one cell that didn't stop and die like it was supposed to. It keeps growing and growing and the cells it divides into also are mutated and they also divide forever. That is why in cancer treatment its so important to catch it early and to not miss a single cancer cell. Because if you miss even one, it will just start all over again.
So you can see why scientists are actually wary of playing around with this kind of research. You would have to be very careful and all affect all the cells together with the same information. Basically, you would need to reprogram the entire human body with a new Hayflick number, every single cell. If you mess up, you could give the person an aggressive man made cancer cell. Crazy right?
