Is it true that Doha will die on the last trial chapter 111 along with other princes??? I am still on chapter 56 and I was already rooting for him and liking him the best out of everyone so whyyy(/TДT)/
What was the manhwa artist thinking? Or is he gonna come back to life somehow?? I really won't continue this is my Doha is gone...I wanted the FL to choose him and leave a romance like the emperor's but with a happy ending this time...Did she at least have a romantic development with him before dying? I would read at least for their scenes then...
Honestly Hamil and Biseol were never a choice for me...Hamil was too obsessive and wolf in sheep's clothing kinda guy and Biseol was also too possessive and though his backstory was a sad one I just can't see him as love interest, I just hope he stays a good friend/aide to our FL. Only Doha seemed the right choice and yet... I really need answers author ╥﹏╥

Omg that's great then! I am currently at the part were Doha dreamed of them making out and it was so hot it got me blushing ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
If only the FL could finally realise his feelings for her...My poor boy is trying his best to express himself and be proactive but FL always misunderstands his intentions lmao I am usually a fan of slow burn romance but here it's just going so slow way too slow ( ̄∇ ̄")
Ofc I do get that the main focus of the story is about the contest and succession and the trials are really interesting too but I just can't help but feel for my guy Doha everytime he shows up like a lovesick puppy...In that aspect he is definitely more like his father lol (≧∀≦)
Anyway thank you for your reply and giving me hope about my ship^^

I am currently almost done now haha When you sent the reply I was at chapter 75 and yet I managed to marathon through it and reach chapter 102 already! Thanks to your positive and encouraging words! Btw the confession scene with her jumping in his arms I bawled my eyes! It was so beautiful, so sweet, so satisfying to witness!! The latest chapters served all the angst deep heart fluttering romantic scenes i wanted! I am soo satisfied rn!!

This is honestly a case for most manhua...Due to most of them being based on novels and being too long rarely you can find complete ones...Most are either dropped half way or put indefinitely on hiatus at some point. Still I am glad to have read this story since the plot was engaging and thankfully the last chapters seem to be the beginning of a new arc, so I am not all that mad but I am sad that we won't get more though(/TДT)/
Now i just hope i can find the novel translated somewhere and continue with whwre it left off!

This was such an interesting and fresh story even with the simple setting and slice of life elements! I absolutely loved it and I hope we will get some extras with their kids hopefully in the future? >< But either way it was a nice read!!
In the end Crystal is the most beautiful man and Illian the most charming female duke of the North!! She got me girl crushing on her hard throughout the manhwa haha (≧∀≦)
Honestly this wasn't my first gender bender but it was quite unique to see it happen both ways at the same time!

Honestly I am glad the second generation with the boys got their happy ending and their story turned out so sweet (=・ω・=)
But I can't help but wish we got more info about the mother's love story from the past and also both Male leads backgrounds in detail. Like Aloy's mother, was she a window/or maybe the king's mistress? Because they said the king would visit their castle often and her power as Marquess was said to be second to none in the kingdom...And she seemed to have loved Midory's mother Elena but cause of her duties to carry on the Aram family name they broke up? So what happened to Elena and Midory after this for her to die so tragically with her son being left alone to poverty? It seemed so interesting to get to know more of these but the story seem to only focus on the "secret/forbidden relationship" of the boys and left the rest unexplored which was a bit of a shame... ( ̄∇ ̄)
Oh and one last thing to mention is that I love how the mother was so supportive after realizing they were being serious about eo and didn't force them to make the same mistake she did...Well I think the reason also lied in the fact that the sons seemed to have a stronger resolve here and the mothers gave up on eo without as much of a fight...But I mean we do lack the details so we can't even tell what their situation was like back then...

My head canon is when they were found, Elena immediately let go of the Mikado's mother and didn't fight for their relationship because of noble's duty. But I think Elena is trying to be a strong figure to the point she rival the King so when she went to Mikado's mother, no one will oppose... but she was too late tho.
Also Mikado is 1 year younger too maybe because his mom decided that for Elena to really let go, she needed to be "happy". She got the resolve and wanted the best for Elena and that's not her. ╥﹏╥

Cannot wait to catch up with the latest eps! Though it seems like it will get angsty real quick hah? Honestly she did say that she remembered the og novel plot vaguely and the crown prince there was different (the younger bro) so I am not that surprised with his death and even if she wanted to try and stop it she is merely an 8 y.o princess...So even if let's say she remembered the plot she is in no place to go against the villains yet...Too bad tho since the crown prince was such a sweetheart to his siblings and loved them dearly but alas when it comes to royalty keeping your life becomes a hard task especially for soft hearted characters like him...
What shocked me was her mother's death though?? It came out of nowhere and there wasn't such a plotline as far as the og novel goes...So my guess is they indeed took her out because she gained the royal favor and got pregnant hence her fate changed (for the worse apparently) but this is so sad for our princess...Like one hit after the other...

Also I forgot to mention but about the Prince's assassination...Idk if I can trust his guard yet but her asking him to stay is also wise as in "keep ur friends close and your enemies closer" logic. Also it's so obvious that the "tiger" haunting the palace was actually just the fur of one of the 2 tigers that got killed and a human wore them to spread fear and the superstitions and taint the crown princes image...So I am happy to see mc catching on and handling things even when she was shocked and grieving...
These 3-4 latest chapters I read made me feel every possible emotion to my fucking core! Doha's longing, Jeokyeon's feelings of love taking shape and blooming ever so faintly, that wholesome confession and the old Prince's life journey and words of wisdom to Doha had my heart thumping non stop! I can't express enough how I am feeling about this manhwa and Doha-Jeokyeon ┗( T﹏T )┛ THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AND WHOLESOME I CAN'T!!
Ever since things started developing and speeding up I feel like I am on a rollercoaster ride and the emotions they are feeling it's like I am feeling them as well! I am rarely moved to tears when reading and this manhwa managed it! I don't even know what to expect from here on (minor some spoilers i found) but Doha and Jeokyeon better get their sweet happy ending! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Okay finally finished this masterpiece but my only complained is that we didn't get to see Doha become officially her Consort and their wedding! Like common he was the only one sleeping with her and getting that deep level of affection...I mean sure Biseol is important to her but she never saw him as love interest, he is just someone important who went through a lot, always staying by her side but there was never any desire from her side for him. I am glad that we at least got to see the happy ending of everyone!
