well... basically it seems they used to hate each other as children. The kidnapper (sorry, I dont rememner their names) was rich and spoiled while the black-haired guy poor and beaten by his dad. He wished he would grow up quickly to safe his mother and sister from their miserable life... Some day the kidnapper, who has always been quite eccentric (as we can see) decided to befriend the black-haired guy, because he admired him. They grew to like each other and the kidnapper eventually felt in love.
